Trend| Celine Handbags

There is no way that anyone reading this blog (whom i assume to all be avid fashion-atics) have not noticed a particular brand of purses that has exploded in popularity, even over taking the much drooled over Birkin Hermes bag. It has been seen on the arms of every celebrity you can think of and comes at a lower price point than the previous mentioned fad bag with no shortage of color and style options to choose from that still give their signature look. Not to mention wearability, because of the size most can even be used as overnight or carry-on luggage.

The Céline bag.

The most popular and widely recognized is the Celine Luggage Tote (also comes in Mini) or Luggage Phantom:
Then there is the Box Bag. Which is a little more formal and can be worn with essential any outfit:

And my personal fav, the Celine Trapeze bag. Which kind of combines the two previously mentioned:

Here is a sneak peak of the Celine Fall 2013 collection instagrammed by fashion journalist Jim Shi.

Style Spotlight| Golden Globes 2013

I love watching the red carpet before award shows! Sometimes even more than the actual show itself! This years Golden Globes had no shortage of amazing fashion statements. Here are my favorites!

Katharine Mcphee looks amazingly sexy in this black satin-y creation by Theyskens' Theory. I love how they kept her makeup very simple with eyeliner, a nude lip, and messy bun. She looked HOTTT

Jessica Alba looks so fresh in her melon colored silk gown by Oscar de la Renta and Harry Winston jewels.
Jennifer Lopez.... honestly does this woman have any flaw?? She looks amazing in the lacey sheer illusion Zuhair Murad gown. However, it is kind of expected. She tends to choose styles like this one. Her hair is also perfection.
I noticed that a lot of stars chose to go for Veronica Lake style waves, one of my favorite glam looks.
Jennifer Lawrence i feel may have been a bit overlooked for her gown, it doesn't seem to photograph as nicely as it looks in movement on the red carpet. And i love that she stuck with the metal belt trend, as did Marion Cotillard.

Jessica Chastain, hollywoods new it girl i thought looked gorgeous in this sea foam Calvin Klein. Love the contrast of the color with her red hair.
Emily Blunt, just stunning and sexy in her Michael Kors cut out gown.
And Nicole Richie in my book could never do wrong. She always bring the amazing vintage glam.

And lastly Kate Hudson in this Alexander McQueen design. I love how sleek, clean and put together she looks. The gold heavy accents are a dead giveaway that this could be no other than a McQueen.

Sweet Destinations| Singapore & Thailand

Hi! I know i haven't posted in a while. I have been on vacation for a little over 2 weeks in Singapore and Phuket, Thailand! Wifi was scarce but i had a great time! Now back to reality. I thought you guys might like to see some pictures from my trip since these are places that most people don't often visit. My moms side of the family lives in Singapore so i have been there quite a few times. Thailand, however was new to me! Who knew that it was such a beautiful place!?... or maybe i was just out of the loop on this tid bit? I have to say, this was a very different Christmas than i am used to. Usually i am in Seattle freezing, opening presents and having a big family dinner. This year was spent frolicking on the beach, snorkeling and watching "lady boy" Cabaret shows. So fun! Here are some photos from my trip (click images to view larger)!

Getting ready to go island hopping!
On the boat and the beach! We got to visit 5 of the islands in the Phi Phi island chain. Including Maya beach where they filmed the Leonardo Decaprio movie "The Beach", that was my favorite of all 5 but it was very crowded with tourists. The clear blue water was beautiful! We also saw monkeys!
