Outfit of the Day|
Its still pretty chilly in LA this time of year so i always use that as an excuse to make use of all my boots! This look from a few days ago is very casual but still cute. Spent the day with my man shopping downtown and at the mall, I got some really cute accessories!
I wore a black tank under my cropped
forest green pea-coat with black skinny jeans and two tone faux-leather
boots. I decided to wear this neon cross-body bag to add an extra
surprising pop of color.

Halloween Nails
Halloween is totally one of my favorite times of year! I love how the season begins to change, and fashion changes along with it. One of the funnest things about it is dressing up for Halloween. Doing my nails definitely a part of that. Check out my DIY Halloween nails above.

Beauty Spotlight| Disney Cinderella Collection by Sephora
Hearing about any new Disney collaboration is always exciting! The newest company to team up with the Disney empire is Sephora, my go to store for anything beauty related. They have signed a deal for a Reigning Beauties series of collections inspired by some of our favorite Disney princesses. The first to be released - Cinderella. This fairytale collection spans across the board from lipsticks to nail polishes to fragrances all with 19th Century French inspired design from her era. They even used the actual Pantone colors inspired by the 1950 animated film. Something about Disney princesses gets us women excited at any age! I am looking forward to seeing the collections for the princesses of color, though they seemed to have done a great job of making the Cinderella collection very versatile. Will you be buying? Which princess are you most excited to see a collection for?

Trend| Glow in the Dark Beauty
This trend
is a little wild, but totally fun! Glow in the dark makeup and nail polish!
With the release of American Apparels glow in the dark nail polish (3
color options. Retailing at $6 a bottle) comes a slough of other beauty
products with the same effect. Sure there have probably been a few
around sold specifically at Halloween seasonal stores... but is this now
becoming mainstream? Would you rock it?
American Apparel ($6)

Blackheart Beauty Bright Nail Polish can be found at
Hot Topic ($5)
Comes in: Shocking Pink, Crime Scene - clear top coat that reacts under UV light, Violet Tendencies & Jealous type. How awesome is the skull bottle design?

You may also remember, around this time last year Makeup Forever launched their Fluo Night Black Light Pigment. Comes 8 intense shades. It is pot of pure translucent powder that can be used wet, dry, or mixed with any medium like moisturizer, foundation, mascara, and lipgloss. The powder glows fluorescent under black light. This could be really cool with any Halloween costume if you are attending a late night party. But be careful with powder because, just as lint shines bright under black light, out of place powder will too!
These also look pretty cool..
