Recently I refreshed my ombre' with a blonde-er shade added to the ends. The last time I did anything to it was in July so it was definitely time for a little update! After a while blonde hair starts to loose its white shade and turn orange-y, as seen in the photo below. So unless you are a natural blonde, it is best to refresh the color every 4-6 months. Depending on how healthy your hair is.My ombre' look consists of 4 different shades of color to gives a complete gradiation.

Trend | Ombre' Update
Cut 6 inches off my hair, refreshed my ombre' with more length of blonde (she used 4 colors total: 2 brown, 2 blonde), and for the first time in my life i got bangs! They aren't too drastic, pretty light side bangs but they definitely take a lot of getting use to! I have to run a straightener over them daily to get the to fall to the side. Ever since i first did the ombre' ive felt more open to experimenting with my hair!
Tip: I learned the hard way how dead your hair can become after bleaching if you do not take extra care of it. Now I am making sure to do a coconut keratin hair mask every time I wash. The difference in my texture is obvious right away!

Style Spotlight| White & Gold
This color combo never goes out of style and looks great on absolutely everyone! It could be simply combining a casual white tee with gold statement jewelery pieces, or an ornate evening gown. A few years ago we saw door knocker earrings back in full swing and now more and more fashionistas are seeking out chunky gold jewelry to accessories with... Sound familiar?

Sweet Destinations| Singapore & Thailand

Hi! I know i haven't posted in a while. I have been on vacation for a little over 2 weeks in Singapore and Phuket, Thailand! Wifi was scarce but i had a great time! Now back to reality. I thought you guys might like to see some pictures from my trip since these are places that most people don't often visit. My moms side of the family lives in Singapore so i have been there quite a few times. Thailand, however was new to me! Who knew that it was such a beautiful place!?... or maybe i was just out of the loop on this tid bit? I have to say, this was a very different Christmas than i am used to. Usually i am in Seattle freezing, opening presents and having a big family dinner. This year was spent frolicking on the beach, snorkeling and watching "lady boy" Cabaret shows. So fun! Here are some photos from my trip (click images to view larger)!

On the boat and the beach! We got to visit 5 of the islands in the Phi Phi island chain. Including Maya beach where they filmed the Leonardo Decaprio movie "The Beach", that was my favorite of all 5 but it was very crowded with tourists. The clear blue water was beautiful! We also saw monkeys!
