Style Spotlight | Met Gala 2013

Loved the punk theme from the Met Gala which is hands down my favorite fashion event of the year. I would probably sell my soul to get to dress up and be in attendance. Here are some of my favorite looks from the night!

So with my recent return from vacation in Seattle back to Los Angeles I have been looking up outfits to wear in colder weather and still look great! I came across this look and love that it pieces together extremely comfortable (hello boyfriend jeans!) but also warm pieces that are still stylish! Kind of wishing i had this outfit for my trip! 

Below i pulled together some pieces to get the look without totally breaking the bank!... and added a few things i would accessorize with.

Casual Work Day

It was a little chilly in LA so i wanted to be sure to stay warm! Love this sweater that can still be cute and fun but also cozy and durable at the same time!Also, can you tell I've been obsessed with this necklace lately!? It goes with everything!

I also did a slightly messy braided sock bun which looks more complicated than it actually is. Wasn't so sure how my hair would look in a bun since I ombre'd it but I decided to give it a try and I actually got a lot of compliments! So here's a close up.(I have to use like 8 billion bobby pins since my hair is so thick!)

Previously I wore this sweater with studded leather Steve Madden Boots, dangly gold olive branch earrings, and white nails.
